While getting the new Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 might be hard, there’s still a handful of games with playing. The console-exclusive titles should be rolling out soon, but here’s a little taste of the games you should be playing.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

If you enjoyed the previous iterations of Spider-Man games then you’ll like Miles Morales as well. It takes a lot of dynamics from the first game and makes them feel new to gamers. Picking up where the previous game left off, Peter is away and Miles has the key to the city to protect the neighborhood. With a combo of new and old villains, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a hit on the PS5.

Outriders

When it comes to shooter games, pretty much everything these days is wash, rinse, repeat. It’s hard to make a shooter seem original but they’ve found a way. You get your typical FPS but with a twist. It’s a looter-shooter but you get powers as well. With each class comes a skill tree to unlock your own path to controlling the battlefield.

Ark: Survival

While this one might not be a newer game, Ark: Survival is fun nonetheless. It gives you that Minecraft vibe of mining and collecting resources. However, this time you start in a world full of dinosaurs with nothing but a few thin clothes to cover you up. Eventually, you work your way up, evolving your gear, and taming the dinos as weapons.

MLB The Show 2021

It’s been a while since the Xbox has had a good baseball simulator. MLB The Show has been a Playstation exclusive for gamers. Now, in 2021, Xbox will finally get their hands on it. To top it all off, it’ll be a free game on Xbox’s Gamepass. If you love baseball, then The Show is the game you’ve been waiting on.

Final Fantasy: A Real Reborn

8 years and a handful of expansions later, Final Fantasy XIV is still going strong. Now it’s officially formatted to fit the PS5. If you’re in for MMORPG’s then this one is for you. Imagine World of Warcraft with a Final Fantasy twist. At just 15 bucks a month, this one is worth the price of the subscription.

Next-gen gaming is still new. With titles like Halo and God of War on the horizon, fans can’t wait to get their next console. With limited supply, it might be a while, but what’s coming might be worth the wait.
