5 NFL Teams Whose Fans Should Panic After Week 10

NFL Lamar Jackson of the Ravens

The NFL is in the back half of the season and with each loss, fans need to panic more as playoff hopes dwindle. Who’s window could be closing?

Tennessee Titans

The Titans were in firm control of the division, now they’re tied for first place. They’ve slipped over the past few weeks and it looks like the rest of the NFL is finally catching up. Losing to the Colts puts them in a position to be pushed out of the playoffs. With that loss, the tie for first place goes to Indianapolis. From there, they’re in a 5-way tie for a wild card with Miami, Las Vegas, Cleveland, and Baltimore. There’s a very real chance they can be out of playoff contention if the slid continues.

Cleveland Browns

Speaking of the Browns, they should be optimistic. While they’re in the playoff hunt, multiple times this season they’ve been shown to struggle and Sunday was no different. The Texans are the furthest thing from competitive this season and Cleveland barely could manage a 10-7 win. With the division running through the Steelers and Ravens they’ll have an uphill battle, and that’s just in their division. The rest of the AFC won’t do them any favors. Being as it’s the Browns, however, a winning season should be considered a win.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore lost to a bad Patriots team pure and simple. However, that’s not the concerning part. Ravens fans should be concerned with how careless Lamar Jackson is in tough games. Against the unbeaten Steelers, he turned it over late in the game, and again against the Pats he also threw another interception. Baltimore might not take the division, but the wildcard spot might not make it with even 10 wins. In a race for the playoffs, each conference game matters, and this one may have cost them when it should’ve been a win.

New Orleans Saints

After a very rough start, the Saints have turned around their NFL season. While they’re on a pretty solid winning streak, losing a starting quarterback is never a good sign. This isn’t the first time they’ve been without Brees the past few seasons. Right now, he’s projected to only miss a couple of weeks, but rib injuries can be tricky. On top of that, they’ll need to take extra precautions to protect him in the future if they’re looking to make a run at the Super Bowl. The Saints are a different team with him out so they may slip up a bit.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have come up with some key victories this season, but can’t seem to string enough together to keep off the rest of the division. Right now the Niners are 4-6 while the entire division is 6-3, they’re not out of it by any means but they’re far from competitive right now. If San Fran wants to make a run at the playoffs they’ll need to string together multiple wins in a row, something they haven’t shown they can do. The rest of the season might be an uphill climb and their playoff window could be closing with another loss.

10 weeks of NFL action and plenty of fans have been in panic mode. Who will be on next week’s panic watch?
