5 NFL Teams Whose Fans Should Panic After Week 12
Week 12 was filled with bad matchups, but in today’s NFL, anyone can win on Sundays. What teams should be panicking after this week’s games.
Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions have been struggling through the NFL for decades. They haven’t been able to find their footing and this year was no different. After an embarrassing loss this week to a bad Houston team, Detroit would go on to fire their head coach Matt Patricia. The Lions seemed like they were trending upwards not long before Patricia took over but they quickly fell behind the rest of the NFL again.
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas has sure had their ups and downs this season. Losing to a division rival is never easy. Getting blown out by one is a tough pill to swallow. Getting blown out by a rival that has only won 4 out of 11 games is the definition of panic. The Cowboys have spent a lot of money to stay competitive, yet without Dak in the lineup, they are anything but competitive. This year might be a wash for the Cowboys but if losing one player changes the whole game, there’s more to worry about than injuries.

Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals are a streaking team. They’ll look like one of the NFL’s best one week after beating a tough Bills team, then look like pretenders against an average Pats team two weeks later. The division is 100% up for grabs for the NFC West. However, every time the Cardinals should take first or extend their lead, they fail to get a victory that week. If they can hang on and make the playoffs they’ll have a lot of evaluating to stay in the mix, but right now they look like they won’t make the playoffs.
Las Vegas Raiders
Speaking of playoffs, the Raiders were in a playoff position with a win. While they’re still in the hunt, they needed to win to keep pace with the rest of the AFC. Not only did they lose, but they also did so in an embarrassing fashion. Either the Falcons are coming on late and were better than they looked, or LA came out flat against a bad football team. Wild Card teams are 7-4 and pending a loss for the Ravens the last spot would be a 6-5 tie with the Raiders. Baltimore can get hot so the Raiders will have to keep pace with them if they want that final playoff spot.
Los Angels Rams
The Rams needed a win if they were looking to take the division. While they’re in no danger of losing a playoff spot yet, losing to a division rival in a tight race could be costly. The win for San Fran puts them right back into the hunt. If they can get hot at the end of the season, there’s an off chance they could bounce the Rams from the playoffs.
