5 Teams Who Need Julio Jones
Julio Jones will be on the move over the next few days. He’s already stated he wants off the Atlanta Falcons roster and they’re willing to make a move. Almost every team could use an upgrade at wide receiver but here are the teams that should make the most aggressive push:
New York Giants
The Giants haven’t had a top receiver since trading away Odell Beckham Jr. When they have had the talent, the majority of them have ended up on the injury report. While they’ve gone out of their way to make the necessary moves are receiver this offseason, adding Jones to the mix would help them pull away in the division.
Arizona Cardinals
Arizona is already stacked on offense with DeAndre Hopkins, Kyler Murray, AJ Green. Adding Julio would be a welcomed addition to a team with a complimentary defense. The Cards could afford to give up the pick needed to land Jones and doing so would stack their offense. If they can lure a talent like Jones to Arizona they might be able to convince Larry Fitzgerald to give it one more go. If an offense that featured Hopkins, Green, Fitzgerald, and Jones couldn’t get it done the blame has to fall on the QB.

Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals added Ja’marr Chase this offseason but still could use more help. Joe Burrow and company have a long way to go to overcome their losing season and will need more weapons. It would take Jones out of the NFC and into a tough division where he’d have to perform. Luckily for him, he’d get one of the top young quarterbacks in the league. The dynamic would instantly make Cincy a top-notch offense.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philly needs to develop their quarterback position and quick. While it might be too early in his career to write off Jalen Hurts, they need him productive before the boo-birds catch on. The Eagles have had their share of B+ receivers lately. Julio Jones would get them over that hump with an explosive playmaker on their roster.
Detroit Lions
The Lions haven’t wowed anyone with their offense the past few seasons. The team finally decided to move on from Matthew Stafford who could use a fresh start. His replacement, Jared Goff, could also use a fresh start as well as a new favorite weapon. If Aaron Rodgers doesn’t come back to the Packers, that division is up for grabs and the Lions should be in attack mode.
Julio Jones might be the missing piece for any potential Super Bowl contender. Who will pull the trigger to get a deal done?
