5 Teams Whose Fans Should Panic After Week 3
Week 3 of NFL football was full of interesting matchups and not too many upsets. However, there’s still plenty of reasons for fans to feel like their team is on the ropes. In no particular order, here are 5 teams in panic mode:
Jacksonville Jaguars
The fan should be used to the Jags being terrible by now. Despite their one good season out of Blake Bortles that almost got them to the Super Bowl, they’ve been in free-fall mode. Thursday Night Football was a prime example when they faced the Miami Dolphins
Miami is a rebuilding team that hasn’t won by double digits since 2017 and the Ryan Fitzpatrick lead Dolphins made them look like a Miami Dolphins team. After a strong start with a win and a close loss, Jacksonville needs to rebound in week 4.
Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan just isn’t getting it done. Fans will defend him to their deathbeds but too many times has he either blown a lead or not kicked into that next gear. His whole career he’s played at a high level but he’s never been able to kick it to 11.
Nick Foles came in and did what he does best, lead teams to winning drives. It wasn’t pretty, but sometimes ugly wins football games. Against the Falcons ugly is apparently always going to be enough.

Are the Cleveland Browns actually a good football team this year? Not exactly but Washington should’ve got this done. So far they’ve only beat the struggling Eagles. Haskins remains their starter through their struggles but who knows how he’ll finish the season. Maybe it’s their own fault cutting Adrian Peterson a bit too soon.
Minnesota Vikings
If Minnesota was getting ready for another Super Bowl push, this isn’t the way to get it done. The Packers are off to one of the hottest starys this year and nothing the Vikings have done looks like it can match them for the division this year. Ryan Tannehill and the Titans won a close game, but Minnesota needs to wake up and start winning games.
Philadelphia Eagles
Is it time to give up on the Carson Wentz era? His push for the Super Bowl was cut short by injury and he hasn’t looked the same since. The NFL is ever-evolving so maybe it’s time for Philly to evolve as well. It can’t be all Wentz’ fault but they need the same spark to get back on track they got when Nick Foles came in to lead them in the playoffs. Luckily for Philly fans, the rest of the division is stinking it up as well.
This year’s NFL season has been one of the weirder ones but teams are still playing. After this week we’ll be 25% of the way through the season and very few teams look dominant. Who makes the adjustments to get back on track?
