5 Teams Whose Fans Should Panic After Week 6

New York Jets NFL Coach Adam Gase

The NFC East continues to crumble this week, but they’re not the only ones who should panic.

Buffalo Bills

Don’t look now, but the once undefeated Buffalo Bills have lost two in a row. Luckily for Bills fans, they were both against tough AFC opponents in the Titans and Chiefs. However, it is customary for the Bills to have a mid-season breakdown. Josh Allen isn’t looking as solid as he was to start the season and Buffalo is towards the bottom of the NFL in rushing yards per game. If they can’t balance out their offense, winning the division will be tough should Allen struggle down the stretch?

Indianapolis Colts

It’s hard to panic after a win but that’s exactly what Colts fans should be doing. There’s winning, then there’s squeaking out a narrow victory against a one-win team, with a rookie quarterback, when your division rival is pulling away from the rest of the NFL. After getting off to an early deficit the Colts made the necessary adjustments after halftime, but against the rest of the AFC leaders, it won’t always be that easy to come back.

More Panic Mode: 5 Teams Whose Fans Should Panic After Week 5

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay was rolling in its 2020 campaign. Luckily for the rest of the NFC North, it only took 6 games to receive their “smack in the mouth” moment. Yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 4-2, but a team that started with a struggle, looked like the Tom Brady led Patriot teams we all love to hate. Green Bay slid out of a division lead with this loss but surely will make the playoffs. However, there’s a lot of good tape on just how to beat the Packers after that one. We’ll see if the rest of the NFL takes notice.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angels Rams are still having a fairly good start to the NFL season, but this week’s loss hits different. Losing a divisional game to the 49ers will happen, but an injury-depleted Niners team beat up the Rams in week 6. The same San Fran team that just got pummeled by the Dolphins took what look to be a tough matchup and made it look like an easy win. Maybe they’re getting healthy again, but if not the Rams have some holes to fill.

Minnesota Vikings

If this season isn’t bad enough for the Minnesota Vikings, things got worse in week 6. Not only did they get beat fairly easily, but they also allowed the 0-5 Atlanta Falcons to hang 40 points on them. At some point, Vikings fans have to wonder how it went so wrong so fast.
