WWE: John Cena, Nikki Bella, The Miz, and Maryse’s promo work has helped elevate their Wrestlemania match
As we get closer to the grandest stage for the WWE in Wrestlemania 33, the card is becoming more and clear as to what matches we will be seeing that night in Orlando, Florida. It seems that every week, there is one match that I am getting more of an interest in and its simply from the promos that have been done for this match.
It was reveled on Smackdown that the Miz and Maryse are going to be in a mix gender tag team match against John Cena and Nikki Bella. This match was rumored to be happening for weeks, but Smackdown Live and the brother-in-law of John Cena and Nikki Bella, Daniel Bryan, made the match official. This would end up happening after a Miz TV segment where the Miz and Maryse continued to take shots at John and Nikki. It has been known for quite some time that the Miz is one of the best mic workers on the WWE roster, but Maryse did not do have bad on the mic.
Since she returned to the WWE on the night after Wrestlemania 32 when the Miz defeated Zack Ryder for the WWE Intercontinental Title, she hasn’t really been given much mic time. However, in this feud, that is changing as she is doing well on the mic. It also should be noted that once John Cena and Nikki Bella came out and we saw the heels retreat, Nikki Bella was able to keep her end up on the mic. While she was pretty much repeating what John Cena said to the Miz a few weeks back, she was able to put her own twist on it.
In regards to this match, I am curious to see if Daniel Bryan interferes at all. Bryan’s wife, Brie Bella, is pregnant with the couple’s first child and it is expected for Daniel to be written off of TV as the due date gets closer. Also, it has been known for a bit of time that the Miz doesn’t like Daniel Bryan, so that could add some fire.
I will put it this way, the promos that have been done by John Cena, Nikki Bella, The Miz, and Maryse have made me more invested as a fan for this match as we will see the two power couples of the WWE fight it out in the ring on the grandest stage. Please keep in touch with the Inscriber Magazine as we will have all your latest news as we are only a little bit over two weeks away from Wrestlemania.
