AEW: Lance Archer will become your TNT Champion
Every week, AEW has A Road To….. on YouTube. The purpose of this show is to announce the matches and anything coming up for the upcoming episode of Dynamite. On the latest epiosde, we found out that AEW will have the TNT Championship. In lamest terms, this is the TV title for AEW. In the announcement, it was announced that the championship would be contested within an eight-man tournement. On AEW Dark last night, we found out that the first four will be Darby Allin, Cody Rhodes, Shawn Spears, and Sammy Guevara.
On Dynamite, we would find out the other half of the tournament. It will consist of Kip Sabian, Dustin Rhodes, Colt Cabana, and Lance Archer. The finals will take place at Double or Nothing. However, with the COVID-19 situation, the possibility of that happening is still up in the air. Personally, I feel that every one of the people in this could have the argument made of winning this whole thing. However, we are also going to get a lot of rematches and some dream matches. We are going to look first at the left side of the bracket.

In the match between Allin and Sammy Guevara, I see Allin coming out on top. Since Darby Allin debuted at Fyter Fest last July, AEW has strapped the rocket to his back. Not saying they don’t have any big plans for Sammy, but I see Allin holding a belt before Sammy. In the Cody/Shawn Spears match, I see Cody winning it. Shawn Spears is a very talented guy, but it seems his role is to get other guys over. On the other side, I am going to take Kip Sabian and Lance Archer both advancing. Kip Sabian is in the same boat like Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin, he is one of the future stars of professional wrestling.
Lance Archer made his in-ring debut and destroyed his opponent. Colt Cabana is not someone who needs a win and will still be over. Archer is over as well, but it seems that AEW is going to build him up as a mega monster. So that the final four would be Cody vs. Darby Allin and Lance Archer taking on Kip Sabian. Lance Archer will dominate Sabian. The Cody and Allin match is tough to pick because both are on a positive streak lately. However, something tells me Cody would win.
The finals would then be Cody vs. Lance Archer. One of the storylines that would play out is the promos between both Arn Anderson and Jake “The Snake” Roberts. Those guys are two of the best talkers on the microphone. In the end, I think we get Lance Archer as your first TNT Championship.
