AEW: Revolution should set up Page/Omega at Double or Nothing
A few weeks ago, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega captured the AEW Tag team titles from SCU on an episode of Dynamite. This was interesting because there was a tease for some time that AEW was going to turn Hangman Page heel. However, for some reason, they have yet to pull the trigger on the turn. With how the booking has gone, it would lead me to think that when AEW holds there Revolution pay-per-view, we should see the turn occur. While we don’t know who they will be facing, the feeling is we will probably see them face Nick and Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks.
If I were booking it, there would be one way I would book it where the turn would be perfect. A few weeks prior to Revolution, you could see problems start to brew between Page and Omega. This is where you can see them disagree on things and not be on the same page, but they seem to still be getting wins. At Revolution, as it looks like the Young Bucks are set to become the new AEW champions, the team of Omega and Page split comes to the forefront. We then see the Young Bucks get the win.
After the match, Omega and Page are in disbelief. On the next episode of Dynamite, we see Omega and Page open up the show. They cut a promo and the Young Bucks agree to give them a rematch in the next two weeks. At the rematch, Page walks away from Omega during the match, thus making it a 2-on-1 match. Then the following week, Omega opens up the show with a live microphone.
He calls out Page to come to the ring. It’s at this point Page comes out and doesn’t explain why he did what he did, but he attacks Omega. Then over the next couple of weeks, we get pulled aparts occurring. Then we hear on the following week that Omega will challenge Page at Double or Nothing. Page at first doesn’t want to, but after many weeks he finally agrees.
