We are now less than a month to go until AEW begins their TNT show. Although they haven’t had a show yet, they have many things going for them. One of those happen to be how stacked their tag team division is. As of this writing, here are the teams that are included within the AEW tag team division.

For starters, we have the Young Bucks, SCU, Lucha Brothers, Private Party, Dark Order, Best Friends, Jack Evans and Angelico, and the team of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt. As we saw at All Out, you can now add Santana and Ortiz to the mix. The former members of LAX made their debut after attacking the Young Bucks after their ladder match. Santana and Ortiz were apart of LAX when they were in Impact. During their Impact run, they would end up becoming one of the top tag teams in Impact. After their contracts expired in Impact, the field was down to AEW and WWE. While there was no official announcement made of them signing with AEW, it’s safe to say they are going to be apart of the AEW tag team division.

At the October 2nd episode, Kenny Omega is set to team with the Young Bucks as they take on Chris Jericho and two mystery partners. After what happened at All Out, it would be a surprise if it’s anyone besides Santana and Ortiz. It was revealed recently that the Young Bucks chose them to fight on the Chris Jericho cruise this past year. So the Young Bucks think very highly of them.

PWInsider reported that Santana and Ortiz won’t be using the LAX name while they are in AEW. Over the weekend, it was announced that Impact Wrestling actually owns the rights to the name. As the commentary team revealed at All Out as the angle was happening was that they are going to be going by the name of “The Boricuas.”
