AEW: The AEW belt has allegedly been stolen

It’s been a few days since All Out happened. As we saw in the main event, Chris Jericho defeated Hangman Adam Page to become the first AEW World Heavyweight Champion. However, it’s now being reported that the title has gone missing. It isn’t known at this point whether the belt was stolen or just went missing. The AEW belt is something you don’t want to lose.

It was reported through the Tallahassee Police that a report was filed. Here is what the report said. “ The victim reported the theft of his championship wrestling belt while he was eating inside Longhorn Steakhouse. The victim stated he arrived at the Millionaire Club Airport Terminal and placed the belt inside his rented limousine. The limo driver shuttled the victim to Longhorn for dinner. The victim remained at Longhorn while the limo driver returned to the airport. The victim had taken the wrong luggage from the airport and the driver took it back to the terminal. When the driver picked up the victim from the restaurant, the belt was missing. Responding officers searched the limo and airport for the belt without success. On-call CID was consulted, and forensics responded to the scene.”  We would like to thank fightful.com for providing the transcript.

As AEW continues to grow, this is something they don’t want to be dealing with. While it will probably be found in due time, it doesn’t help the situation. As of now, neither Jericho or AEW have commented on the matter and the case is still open. Coming off of All Out, it has been interesting for AEW. Between this news and the release of Kylie Rae, it’s been an interesting few weeks for AEW.

We are less than a month away from AEW debuting on TNT. Stay tuned to Cavemen Radio and Comeback Wrestling Show as we will keep you up to date.
