We are still a few weeks away from the biggest month in professional wrestling. This has been deemed that because the landscape will be changing. You are having AEW and NXT both make their TV debuts. I know NXT makes their debut on September 18th, they don’t go full time on USA Network until October 2nd. NWA is set to hold TV tapings in October and Impact Wrestling is set to move to AXS TV after Bound for Glory.

While many of those promotions have been around and have been on TV, AEW is the rookie in the bunch. They just started in 2019. When we look at the roster, there will be a few things to look at. One of them was recently bought up on the Comeback Wrestling Show after they heard it on Busted Open. The point that was brought up on Busted Open was which homegrown AEW talent will benefit from going to TNT. The guys on Busted Open said Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF. On the Comeback Wrestling Show, the guys took a bit of a different route. They mentioned MJF but raised the point that he was on MLW. Some of the names brought up were Private Party, Marko Stunt, Jungle Boy, and Luchasaurus.

None of these guys are rookies. However, they worked for promotions that were not on the levels of an AEW or WWE as far as exposure. It is safe to say that between Double or Nothing, Fyter Fest, Fight for the Fallen, and All Out; more wrestling fans know who those guys are. I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here, but all of those guys mentioned will be stars in AEW.

AEW is set to begin their TV show on October 2nd. On that card, Cody will be taking on Sammy Guevara, MJF will take on Brandon Cutler, and Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks will take on AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and two partners of his chosing.
