Apple Keynote Announcement: Where to Watch

It’s September, which means it’s time for a new Apple announcement to reveal their next generation of phones, iPads and watches. Apple has shifted their focus in the past few months as well to a focus on subscription services such as News+, Apple Arcade, and Apple TV+ so we may get a few new updates on those services yet to be released.

What to expect:

iPhone:

Of course, every year their flagship mobile device is going to be announced, the majority of their target audience is always waiting on the edge of their seats for the next generation of iPhone. While all the experts are saying there won’t be any major upgrades until next year we’re looking forward to seeing what their new camera set up can truly do, if all the “leaks” are correct. And, of course, another year, another rumor of the death of the lightning cable in favor of the USB-C. Will it happen? Probably not, but we’ll see.

iPad:

Can’t imaging there’s too much to see here. Apple will more than likely reveal a faster iPad with more functionality. They could show an increase of size and show off flashy ways to connect as a sidekick to the Mac, but another year of slight upgrades.

Apple Watch:

The focus on the Apple Watch has been all about health in the past few years. Each iteration they’ve added new ways to monitor you heart and fitness. This year there’s persistent rumors about sleep tracking which would require a pretty solid upgrade on battery life since most people charge their watch while sleeping.

Apple TV:

This will probably be their main focus. With the company doubling down on subscription services, their new streaming service will be at the forefront. The investment in worthy streaming television has been pretty hefty so far, so while there might not be an upgrade to the device itself we expect the keynote to show off its flashy new product. Since its now September and Apple revealed it would release by the end of the year, there’s a good chance they’ll have a way to show a polished version of what’s to come

Where to Watch:

You can watch the keynote announcement at 10am PST/1pm EST on Apple’s Website : Apple
