Bad Boys For Life: The Long-Awaited Sequel (trailer)
Everyone’s favorite buddy-cop movie is back. Sixteen years after the sequel that came 8 years after the original, the Bad Boys franchise is back with the latest installment, Bad Boys For Life:
“Old-school cops Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett team up to take down the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel. Newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department along with Mike and Marcus go up against the ruthless Armando Armas.”

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence take us back to our two favorite Miami police officers. Bad Boys is one of the few sequels that fans enjoyed just as much as the original. The dynamic between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence had audiences cracking up throughout the whole movie. We have to wonder why the duo hasn’t attempted more movies together.
Fans were calling for a Bad Boys 3 for years, now. It had been rumored for a while but neither star was on board for a 100% commitment. The studio had to nail down the specifics as well as a worthwhile script for the third film before it went in to production. Finally, after the long wait we’re getting what we’ve been asking for.
Bad Boys For Life looks to be the wrap up film for the franchise. With the trailer echoing “one last time” it only makes sense that we finally get a wrap up to the fan favorite. Even with a tv show spinoff, we doubt the franchise can continue past the duo of Smith/Lawrence on the big screen. Who would they pass the baton to that could follow in their footsteps? Right now, the only two people with the same on-screen back-and-forth that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have are Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson and they’re already tied up in their franchises.
No matter the case, Bad Boys for Life will undoubtably be hilarious. Fans have been waiting long enough for a sequel and will finally get their wish on January 17th, 2020.
