Can Marvel and Keanu Reeves Ink The Deal For Ghost Rider?
The Marvel Cinematic University is gearing up for Phase 4 and that means a slew of new and old characters will make their presence felt. But what’s important regarding the new phase is that Kevin Feige has Disney+ at his disposal. With that comes the opportunity to expand and there are reports he has Ghost Rider in his sights with no other than Keanu Reeves pegged to play the role.
Feige wants Reeves but there are complications. After the huge success of The Matrix and now John Wick, Reeves will not be cheap. According to reports, Reeves is looking for a five-six-movie deal.
The last Marvel fans see of Ghost Rider he was making waves with the Agents of Shield. Fans gravitated towards that character because the storyline fit but it could have been just time to add him.

In 2007, Nicholas Cage took his shot with the devil on a motorcycle, and the response was well-received but then Ghost Rider vanished. Bringing him back into the new-look MCU would be a wise choice. Pairing him with the new Avengers and their counterparts could be risky as he’s more of a loner but the box office draw could be too much to pass up.
Feige had this to say regarding getting Reeves into the MCU:
We talk to him for almost every film we make. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.
If the plan comes together, Keanu Reeves would be the perfect fit for Ghost Rider as his box office draw is at the top of the charts. But there could be a slight concern of conflict with John Wick 4 and The Matrix 4 set to go into production. If Feige can get Reeves on-board, he should do so with a cameo appearance on either one of the TV shows or a new movie.
