Since becoming the starter in 2011, Newton has thrown 158 touchdowns but has been intercepted 95 times as well.
To be elite in this league, those interceptions must hover around the 6-7 per year range. Dating back to 2011, Newton has had no less than 10 picks a year. Most of those can be attributed to the Panthers not supplying Newton with enough talent, however, Newton has to take the blame for staring down his receivers too long.
