What we’re reading:
Batman #78 is sure to be another amazing issue. After how #77 turned out, readers will surely rush to the comic book shops to find out what happens next. It’s getting closer and closer to the end of Tom King’s run so the story really is heating up. Flash is still going strong but has its moments of doubt throughout the series.
Hawkman and Justice league Odyssey have unfortunately fallen to the back burner but still have been two of our deep pull list favorites.
The Stand Outs:
Right now, anything that Brian Michael Bendis is writing. From Event Leviathan to Batman Universe, to Young Justice DC has given him the key to the city and he’s running with it. Each title he’s working on has its own wrinkle and feeling that it both stands out on its own yet somehow fits perfectly into the DC universe. Obviously bringing him over from Marvel was a huge accomplishment and so far its paying off.
