Eddie Murphy Joining Bad Boys 4 Would Be Perfect
The Bad Boys franchise has been a huge success over the last decade grossing more than $830M at the Box Office with their three movies. After the huge success of Bad Boys 4 Life, there was no doubt a fourth installment was on its way. But how can they top the latest?
There are rumors floating around the internet that Eddie Murphy could join the cast. Not as a newcomer, but reprising a role that fans love and one they have asked for, for years.
Yes, the rumor is that Murphy could bring his ever-popular persona Axel Foley to Miami to join forces with Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowry. This would be a good way to tie in a new Beverly Hills Cop movie and see three of our favorite cops on the same screen.

What started the rumor was directors Adil El Abi and Bilall Fallah saying they both would like to see Murphy on the screen with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith.
Because it would be cool if there’s like really Beverly Hills Cop and Bad Boys together in the same universe because it’s the Jerry Bruckheimer universe
A good way to write Foley into the storyline would be to have his character somehow tied to Lowry’s son. Maybe they have crossed paths in Los Angeles or Detroit as Foley’s character is tied to both cities. With Armando now tied to the franchise, Foley gets wind of his presence and heads to Miami to arrest or kill him.
This will bring a great storyline to the movie and one that could set up Armando as the new lead character in the Bad Boys franchise. It would be great to see the three heavyweight characters on screen together as the laughs and action would be plentiful.
Lawrence and Murphy have already starred in a blockbuster together in Life but Murphy and Smith have yet to share the same screen.
Adding Eddie Murphy to this movie would be huge for the audience. And after Hollywood was forced to shut down due to COVID-19, this would be a good way for Black Hollywood to make its presence felt in the new era.
