Fanduel Sportsbook: It’s Time To Make Some Changes With Certain Bets
I love to bet. I use Fanduel Sportsbooks daily and at times, I often still make bets with BetMGM, Ceasars, and DraftKings Sportsbook. But my favorite is still Fanduel. As great as the app is, there are still some adjustments that should be made that would make the user and betting experience better.
With the MLB season in full swing, that has been the main leg of betting for users lately. However, there are a few tweaks that can be made to offer users more and better-betting options.
Another one that I think is pretty huge is Total Bases. Every Sportsbook has this option but they all need to expand on that. Total Bases only count for hits and stolen bases. Their reasoning for that is that the bases must be earned. However, the drawback is that some pitchers are notorious for their lack of command on the mound. So why are the bettors being penalized for this?

If a hitter steps to the plate and battles a Pitcher for a walk or gets hit by a pitch, how is that not earned? Intentional Walks are one thing but taking a pitcher deep into a pitch count by battling off pitch after pitch should count for something. It’s aggravating to have a bet on a hitter to get a single hit or more just to see him get walked 2 times out of 4 plate appearances. Total Bases should be changed to include Walks and Hit By Pitch. Many may not like this but an earned base is still an earned base. If a player scores off that Walk or Hit By Pitch, it still counts as a run scored, right? So why not count as a total base?
The last thing Fanduel Sportsbook should change is a feature that covers all sports. Why is there not an option for total RBIs, Hits, Home Runs, Touchdowns, 3-Pointers, Rebounds, Points scored, etc, etc? What I mean by that is, the total of HRs throughout the day. All teams combined or maybe for a specific game. Example:
Total HRs for Wednesday (All Teams Combined) Over 50/Under 50
Total HRs for Wednesday (Yankees, Mets Combined) Over 5/Under 5
The same can be done for NBA and NFL.
Total 3-Pointers for Sunday (All Teams Combined) Over 200/Under 200
Total Rushing Touchdowns Week 4 (All Teams Combined) Over 25/Under 25
At this point, I’m pretty sure you get the idea. that can be done all across the board. I know that Fanduel does Total Touchdowns but there are other avenues they can take with those bets. And not just make them single bets, they should be allowed to be parlayed with not just singular sports. We should have the option to combine Total Touchdowns for Sunday with Total HRs and Total 3-Pointers, or Total Goals for NHL.
While Fanduel Sportsbook is considered the leader, that doesn’t mean they are perfect. Changes should be made, but will they do it?
