Fantasy Football: Start Or Sit (The AFC North Edition)

Which AFC North QBs Do You Start or Sit in Week 1 of Fantasy Football?

Pittsburgh Steelers 2018

Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers): Ben will be expected to put up solid numbers against a Browns’ defense still searching for an identity. With the likelihood that rookie Denzel Ward will be on Antonio Brown, it’s safe to say that Big Ben will put up at least 30+ points on the Browns. And, with Bell possibly sitting out, the Steelers may be forced to throw more. (Start)

Andy Dalton (Cincinnati Bengals): Dalton was once a Fantasy Football stud but it’s hard to find anyone who took a chance on this former Pro Bowl player even with Green on the receiving end. If Dalton is your starting QB, that means that you made a huge mistake somewhere in your draft. (Sit)

Tyrod Taylor (Cleveland Browns): Taylor could easily wind up being the steal of any draft. The Browns will take on a Steelers’ secondary that ranked top 10 in the NFL last season. And, even with Gordon and Landry, this will be a tough matchup for Taylor. (Sit)

Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens): Flacco is another QB who should be starting only if you decided not to select a real starter in the first 10 rounds. If this happens to be you, then you’re relying on Flacco beating out such starters as Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady with the likes of Crabtree and Willie Snead. Just can’t see this happening even against the Buffalo Bills. (Sit)
