Fantasy Football: Start Or Sit (The AFC North Edition)
Which AFC North WRs Do You Start or Sit in Week 1 of Fantasy Football?
Jarvis Landry (Cleveland Browns): Despite the Steelers tough secondary, Landry can and will still get his catches. While the defense will try to contain Gordon, Landry, who led the NFL in receptions last season will still get 10+ catches. The problem is finding the end zone, which has not been one of his strong points during his career. However, it’s tough to ignore 112 receptions. (Start)
Josh Gordon (Cleveland Browns): Gordon said he will be 100 percent ready to go against the Steelers and the Steelers will be 100 percent ready for him. Expect a struggle day for Gordon against one of the best secondaries in the league. (Sit)
Michael Crabtree (Baltimore Ravens): Crabtree will become Flacco’s favorite target but if couldn’t save the season for Derek Carr and the Raiders last year, there’s not much to expect from Flacco. A touchdown and 60 yards receiving will be the high point of the day for Crabtree. (Sit)
Willie Snead (Baltimore Ravens): Snead has caught passes from Drew Brees in New Orleans and should provide Flacco a nice down the field target if he can stay on the field. However, it will be tough against the Bills secondary. (Sit)
AJ Green (Cincinnati Bengals): The Indianapolis Colts finished the 2017 season ranked 38th in passing yards allowed. This should be easy money for Green but he still has to worry about Dalton. Green can produce but all Dalton has to do is hit him on a slant and Green is gone. That’s more about Green than it is the QB. With that said, Green should have a big day against the Colts secondary. (Start)
Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers): In what world do you not start Brown in any game? It doesn; matter who’s at QB for the Steelers, he’s a must against any secondary. (Start)
JuJu Smith-Schuster (Pittsburgh Steelers): In my heart, I want to give the Browns’ secondary a little respect. However, with no Bell, Big Ben will attempt 40 passes and JuJu will have a huge day. Play him in the Flex position. (Start)
