Fantasy Predictions: 5 Out Of This World NFL Predictions
When it comes to fantasy football there are always some surprises. Here are some of the craziest predictions for the 2019 season.
Joe Mixon leads the league in yards from scrimmage:
Joe Mixon is a work horse by every meaning of the term. A 3 down back that can catch out of the backfield and hit holes with authority. Bengals are far from a contending team, especially with Star wideout AJ green sidelined for the first couple weeks of the season. Mixon will receive a heavy workload and be asked to be the focal point on the offense. Even with Giovanni Bernard extension expect Mixon to be a force this season.
Fantasy Prediction – 1450 rush yards, 980 recieving yards 21 total touchdowns
Kirk Cousins finishes as a top 5 quarterback
Vikings fans should be ecstatic with this prediction after a let down last season by their signal-caller. The rest of the landscape is gonna call for me to be drug tested. After a mediocre at best season in 2018, Cousins is primed to turn it around. With a bevy of weapons like Dalvin Cook, Adam Theilen
and Stephon Diggs I expect the 2nd year Viking to absolutely light it up. This goes hand and hand with my prediction that the Vikings win the division. YOU LIKE THAT!!!!!
Fantasy Prediciton – 4800 pass yards 39 touchdowns 13 interceptions
Kansas City running backs combine for 25 touchdowns
Yes I said it, Damien Williams and new comer Shady McCoy form the best 1-2 punch in the league. With defensive coordinators loosing night after night of sleep preparing for the juggernaut of a offense I expect the backfield to be a force. I predict both backs to be over 1000 yards from scrimmage this season. While Williams is the incumbent starter, McCoy will be fed a lot and eventually supplant Williams as the starter. Both backs will thrive in this offense. For those who drafted Williams, all is not lost. This formidable 2 headed rushing attack will keep defenses honest while trying to also keep fellow offensive speed demon Tyreek Hill under wraps.
Fantasy Prediction – Damien Williams 800 rush yards,500 recieving yards 11 total touchdowns, Shady Mccoy 960 rush yards, 400
recieving yards 14 total touchdowns
Saquan Barkley finishes outside top 10
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa…. do i really believe this?? Barkley has been the best looking running back in a long time. No shade towards Gurley, Bell or Kamara but Barkley has everything in his game. Speed, Strength(oh man the strength) and the vision. Can run inside, can turn the corner and go outside. Not to mention the fact he is also possibly the Giants best receiving threat. So why the crazy prediction?? My thought process is this Giants team is that bad. While the line is supposedly improved, opposing defensive coordinator’s will be able to key on Barkley and take him away. After a rookie season that saw 2,000 plus yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, I expect Barkley to step back slightly.
Fantasy Prediciton – 850 rush yards, 400 recieving yards 9 total touchdowns
Jameis Winston is the 10th best fantasy signal caller
Good Ole Famous JamEis shocks everybody and lives us to his number 1 overall status. Winston, under new head coach Bruce Arians finally
puts in together. Under the QB whisperer, Winston takes off in this Offense. Connecting with receivers Evans and Godwin and tight ends Howard
and Brate. Arians offense is a top 5 scoring unit Where Evans goes for at least 13 Touchdowns, Tight ends combine for 15 scores and Godwin has
close to 9 himself. Winston leads this aerial attack and finally gets some respect while barely loosing the division to Bree’s and New Orleans.
Fantasy Prediction – 4800 pass yards, 400 rush yards 44 combined Touchdowns
