2017 will be the Year of Feminism
If you’re interested in writing for a website that is slowly becoming one of the better in lifestyles, then you may want to pay attention to what I am about to say. The Inscriber Digital Magazine began operating a few years ago and we are expanding into covering many areas. Such areas that the Inscriber Magazine covers includes sports, politics, entertainment, or whatever the dedicated writers want to cover. There happens to be one area that the Inscriber Digital Magazine is hoping to expand in 2017 and beyond. We are hoping to expand our section about feminism as it is still a major hot button topic in 2017. Now, you may be asking yourself, “Why is Feminism a hot button issue in 2017?”
There are several reasons why this is still a hot button issue in 2017. Some could say that it is because there are people around the world who are not educated enough on it and thus end up having the wrong idea on Feminism. Other reasons are have been due to our new president, Donald Trump, and the comments he has said over the years to people who think the movement is for women to overtake the population. There are others, but those are the bigger ones out in the world.
I can assure you that Feminism is not a movement for women to overtake the population. To put it simply as to what feminism is trying to accomplish or the goal of feminism to allow women to be equal to men in many areas. An example of an area where women are not equal to men and due to feminism could change is how much each gender makes in a workplace.
According to the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, they have stats from 2015 and it indicates that women who work full time end up only making eighty cents for every dollar that men end up earning. So we are looking for people who are interested in this area and would want to write about this very hot button topic. Also as the lead feminism writer for the Inscriber, I am hopeful that 2017 can be the year for feminism. If you are interested or have any questions you can leave them in the comments section provided below or you can tweet me @jon_blayne. Let’s make 2017 the year of Feminism.
