Grey’s Anatomy: Do We Need a Japril Spinoff Or Let Them Be Happy?
Fans have waited for this moment and now that it has come, we’re at a crossroads of sorts. Do we want a Japril reunion or should we just let one of the best relationships or Grey’s Anatomy just ride off into the sunset? With April Kepner’s return last week, fans were giving hope for a reunion that never should have taken place.
Not saying we don’t want them together but why tear them apart in the first place?
They weren’t perfect together and that’s what made them so relatable. Nevermind the difference in looks, they’re like oil and water. April believes in God while Jackson believes in science. Their relationship was one heck of a roller coaster that gave Meredith and Derek’s a run for their money. But still, they found a way to make it work even with the odds stacked against them.

After their final break-up. April married Matthew and Jackson tried his best to move on. It appeared that Japril was behind us all and the writers never gave any indications that there was a chance until the final few moments of ‘Look Up Child‘.
With the news that April’s marriage is over and Jackson ready to head to Boston to run the Avery Foundation, that left viewers with their mouths open regarding the possibility of a spin-off. But is that something we should want?
With Grey’s Anatomy possibly ending either this season or next, should fans just want the closure of Jackson and April to be the lasting image we have of them? Do we really want to see them go through their trials and tribulations over and over and possibly tarnish the image we have of them now?
This is what the producers must think about. Remember what happened last season with Alex’s departure when he left his marriage to Jo and ended up with Izzie and his kids. It was a hard pill to swallow but those characters were meant to be together. The fans got their closure and maybe Jackson and April should get the same. Just leave them be and let us imagine what’s happening in Boston.
