How Prince Harry Stole Meghan Markle, Rachel Zane From Me At The Same Time

As mad as I am that Rachel Zane aka Meghan Markle is engaged, I’m more pissed that she has decided to leave her show, Suits. I mean, for christ sake, Prince Harry is royalty. But still, one look at the couple and it doesn’t scream normal. He’s royalty, she’s an actress. That’s in no way to down Meghan, but if Harry didn’t know at first, I’m pretty sure he does now. His future wife kisses another man, weekly. And at first, I was cool with that. I know if I ever met Mike Ross, I could take him one-on-one, but we’re talking Harry here, I can’t compete with that guy.

I’ve always wondered what it would be like to date a famous actress. But then I look around Hollywood and see all the failed relationships and I’m cool with a one-night-stand with Taraji P. Henson. But then you have the strange pairing with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. When the couple met, Markle was at the height of her acting career on the USA Network hit show Suits. It seemed that Harry didn’t mind, but maybe, behind closed doors, there were ultimatums given. Who knows?

The problem is, Markle (Zane) is in a relationship with Mike Ross on the show which means, kissing and lots of it. How would Prince Harry and the Royal Family deal with that? Yes, it’s just acting, however, putting your lips on another person, who’s not your husband, is still sort of a big deal. When the news broke that Markle was leaving the show she’s called home for seven years, it was a punch to the gut. While fans and the network have offered her their best wishes, I’m still livid and a bit jealous.

Love Is More Important to Meghan Markle

I get it, love is love and you will do anything for it, but when you spend your entire life working to perfect your craft and then you just throw it all away, it looks a little shady. Meghan can give the press any statement she wants about her decision. But the truth of the matter is, we may never know if that was one of the rules of them dating. Think about it, if you’re a female with a chance to live the fairytale life and marry a real Prince, what would you do?

I applaud you Prince Harry for getting one of the most beautiful women in the world to marry you, but why did it have to be my Rachel Zane?
