Impact: Bound for Glory card is taking shape

Impact Wrestling is set to hold Bound for Glory in a little over a month from this writing. While you still have time, we have found out two matches so far. Moose is set to take on former NWA champion, Ken Shamrock. The other known bout will see Brian Cage put his Impact World title on the line against OVE leader, Sami Callahan. Sami Callahan got this match by winning a tag tournament with Tessa Blanchard and then defeating her in a singles match later on.

I would suspect Taya Valkyrie, Jake Christ, and The North would all be defending their titles on the show. In addition to Slammiversary, Bound for Glory has been seem as Impact Wrestling’s other big show of the year. If I were Impact Wrestling, I would construct the card in a way that would draw the most eyes to my product.

Ace Austin vs. Eddie Edwards

The North vs. the Rascalz for the Impact Tag titles

Taya Valkyrie vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Jessica Havok for the Knockouts title

Jake Christ vs. Willie Mack for the X Division title

Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards have been in a feud lately because of the new friendship between Ace and Eddie’s wife. I suspect the women to have a triple threat because Taya and Tessa are set to have a match at Triple AAA’s New York Show on Sunday. You could book that to have a no finish or have Jessica Havok attach both women after the match. Then you can have her cut a promo where she says, “ In order to get to the top of Impact’s Knockout division, you need to beat the best.” I figure Jake Christ taking on Willie Mack would be interesting. Also, I’m a huge fan of Willie Mack and wish that Impact Wrestling would do more with him.
