Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots: Watch NFL Online

It’s Thursday, which means Week 5 in the NFL season will get started. To open Week 5, we will see the 1-3 Indianapolis Colts take on the 2-2 New England Patriots. This is a rivalry that dates to the 1970’s. This rivalry reached its peak when Peyton Manning was the QB for the Colts. Since he left, the rivalry had become very one-sided as the Patriots have won the last seven meetings between the teams.

The Patriots are coming into this game coming off an impressive win on Sunday. Prior to the game on Sunday, there was a feeling that we were seeing the end of Brady. As always, they proved the critics wrong as they defeated the Dolphins by a score of 38-7. On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts are coming into this game currently riding a two-game losing streak. In those last two losses, the Colts have only lost by three or four points in both. While a loss is a loss, the Colts haven’t been out of either game.

It’s worth mentioning that Andrew Luck, QB for the Colts, has never beaten the Patriots. As of this writing, he has the most losses against a single team. It’s also worth mentioning that the Julian Edelman effect. Since 2013, the Patriots are 46-9 with Edelman and 19-10 without him. This will be the first game for Edelman since Super Bowl LI. In addition, the Patriots are 22-2 with one loss at home from Week 5-17. With Edelman back in action, I suspect the Patriots will win this contest and further the doubt that Tom Brady is at the end of his career.
