Is Joan Of Arc/ Ms. Lint A Viable Villain For The Tick?
It’s a shame more don’t like the Amazon original, The Tick. The show had a very solid second season. We are left with a lot of questions after the finale, although, a lot of this will be addressed in Season 3. One pressing issue on the mind of many, “How will Joan of Arc (Ms. Lint) do as a main villain?
While Ms. Lint was a somewhat loyal sidekick to The Terror, his death changed something in her. She wanted full control of the villain underworld. To do that, she had to become a superhero and take down AEGIS from the inside. While Joan Of Arc seemed to be going towards a good path, her true colors showed at the end of the season.
Tick and Arthur were the only two at AEGIS that knew of her identity as Ms. Lint. They didn’t know her motives, but knew she wasn’t willing to change. While the duo had a lot on their plate with the Lobstercules case, they missed out on Joan of Arc wiping AEGIS clean.
If season 3 does occur, expect Ms. Lint/ Joan of Arc to be a main focus of the season. Her rise up the criminal ladder was one of the biggest story arc’s of the season. It’s to be expected Lynt’s rise to power as a villain will be on full display.
We know not to cross Ms. Lint, especially as Joan of Arc. She shows little remorse towards others, and really only cares about her own agenda. That’s the mark of a dangerous villain. Lint no longer has The Terror watching over her. She wants the power of being in charge of the criminal underworld.
With a superhero ( now a super villain) disguise, Lint was able to secure some big AEGIS equipment. It’s going to be tough to contain her with a level playing field. The Tick and Arthur will be right on her trail.
As the main villain, Ms. Lint has a lot to live up to if she’s to be as feared as The Terror. The Joan Of Arc suit and her ability (shoots lightning) gives her a distinct advantage over other heroes. She’ll be tough to stop, but we know our two superheroes will put an end to it all.
