 Rewarding End

The Raiders will need to hope to hold on until after their bye. There’s a good chance they could go into their bye with 1-2 wins. Luckily for them, the back part of their schedule is a bit easier based on last year’s records. Of course, this is the start of a new season and anything goes, but assuming those teams improved over in the offseason, the Raiders still may have some catching up to do.

Catching the Chiefs

Las Vegas like the rest of the division and the NFL have to catch up to the young and talented Chiefs team. Only a few were able to get a win against them and only the Bucs made them look beatable in the playoffs. Until a team steps up and takes them back down a peg, the division belongs to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Break Up the Inconsistency

While the Raiders seem to be improving each year, they’re doing so at a pace that isn’t keeping up with the other up-and-coming teams. Getting back to .500 is always a plus, having a shot at the playoffs is better. They’ve done both but even then they don’t look like a team that’s ready to make a run at the Super Bowl. Can they? Absolutely, but it’s going to take a run of consistent limited-mistake football. Can Las Vegas make their run in 2021 or is it back to full panic?
