Lucy Hale suing Celeb Jihad over topless pics stolen off hacked phone
I guess Uber A has struck again. This time ‘A’ stepped into the world of reality and came strong for the privacy of Lucy Hale aka Aria from the Pretty Little Liars fame.
It was reported by TMZ that Hale’s phone was hacked which contained topless photos of the 27-year-old actress. While this is nothing new in the land of Hollyweird, Hale has decided to take the action to court to retrieve what is hers.
[embedit snippet=”2″]According to her attorney, the photos officially belong to Hale as they were on her phone when the hack occurred. Hale’s attorney sent a threatening letter to Celeb Jihad to take the pictures down but as of Thursday morning, the pictures still remain.
Internet traffic is high and any pictures, especially nude ones of a star with such a huge following like Hale will draw in million of viewers. To some this may seem come off as a “well, she shouldn’t be sending such pics anyway”. To that I say, “it’s her business, her phone, and her friend, so screw off”. If a person can no longer feel safe sending what should be private photos then what’s the point of having any kind of message service on your phone or a computer?
This is a day and age of hacked accounts and it’s a shame that someone will stoop this low just for views on a site. But it’s a cruel world out here and Hale had to learn that the hard way.
