What we’re reading

Marvel clearly has the upper hand on titles this week. Almost doubling the DC titles released for this week, but we’re only reading Valkyrie from this list. A follow up to Jason Aaron’s run on The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster has become Valkyrie in what seems to be a sequel to the amazing run. The Mighty Thor was our favorite Marvel title of in that time frame so we can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.

The Stand Outs:

Marvel for some reason seems to be going all-in on Carnage and it doesn’t stop this week. Carnage Vs Deadpool has the potential to be a really fun story. Powers of X continues the expand the X-men world and change it right in front of our faces. Anything Star Wars has to have a good push as the movies start to wind down with the main story.

Tony Stark Iron Man might be a great pick up. After his heartbreaking scenes in the movies, the ability to reshape the character and renew interest leaves the character with huge canvas to work with.

That’s it for this week. If you have any recommendations in DC titles that you think we should pick up, by all means let me know by dropping me a line on Twitter @CavemenRadio. We’ll talk comics, movies, sports, television and more. We also follow back all our followers.
