Miami Dolphins: Persistant Talk Of Watson Interest Is Irresponsible
When speaking on the Miami Dolphins this week, ESPN had a round table discussion about just how well the Dolphins have come around in their five-game win streak. Their analysts applauded the defense and how well Tua Tagovailoa thrived with his efficiency and control. Despite all that, there was still talk that the team needed to decide on Deshaun Watson in the offseason.
Why is this even a question? Why are analysts still entertaining this idea that the Miami Dolphins are going to trade for Deshaun Watson?
There would be a foundation for this discussion if Tua Tagovailoa was struggling to make plays. He’s not. You could argue for Watson if he didn’t have command of the offense. He does. Your argument would be valid if they were losing out. They’re not.
Why in the world are people still talking about Deshaun Watson to the Miami Dolphins?

No matter how good Watson is, if the Dolphins invest that much in draft picks to get him to replace a productive player then they’re dumb. Giving up multiple picks won’t fix the offensive line. It won’t address the running back position. It won’t even get a playmaker at wide receiver. The only thing trading for Deshaun Watson does is sell more jerseys.
With how much ESPN loves to throw this story around, you’d think they were Deshaun Watson’s agent. This year Tua Tagovailoa is displaying all the same traits that make Tom Brady successful. He gets the ball out quick and he limits turnovers. No the two aren’t in the same class, but those are two defining characteristics of Tom Brady’s career and why he’s been so successful and Brian Flores ought to know that best.
With all that being said, if the Miami Dolphins somehow don’t think Tua Tagovailoa is their guy, then find an eventual replacement via free agency or the draft. This Dolphins team when healthy is fast, energetic, and dangerous and they’re not even at full strength yet. While it might take a miracle, they’re still in the hunt for the playoffs.
Deshaun Watson is one heck of a talent, but for ESPN to downplay a second-year player’s success in favor of an offseason story is just plain disrespectful. So many pieces could be brought in this offseason for support. If the Dolphins play their hand right they won’t need to bet the farm on Watson. Stop with all the talk unless there’s a deal in place and let Tua Tagovailoa play for the Miami Dolphins without all the noise.

I Deshaun Watson it’s a much better talent than Tangelaloves I might’ve misspelled his name but Watson could put a lot more pressure on a defense why is running skills then number one for the dolphins Plus he can go down filled with his deep passes it’s got a stronger arm!
