More Miami Dolphins: WRs Most Likely to Be Cut

There’s plenty of games for Dolphins fans to look forward to:

Divisional Games

As always, they’ll face divisional rivals twice a season. More often than not, they’ll split the series but if they want to get over the playoff hump, they’ll have to sweep at least 1 of the 3 matchups. The most likely candidate is the New York Jets. With the rookie quarterback, that defense should have the upper hand. Given the circumstances, there’s a good chance at 4-2 in the division.

Must-Win Conference Games

After the Dolphins squeaked out narrow victories last year, they held a few teams out of the playoffs. Most of those teams will be looking for revenge and they’ll need to get some tough wins. The most likely candidates are the Indianapolis Colts, Las Vegas Raiders, and Baltimore Ravens. Then of course they’ll need to beat teams like the Tennessee Titans as well. They should walk away with wins from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. Another 4-2 outcome should be the worst-case scenario.

Out of Conference Battles

Finally, the Dolphins will face some tough games that will determine their playoff future outside of the conference. Matchups between the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and New Orleans Saints will be their biggest games as well. Miami should win 3 out of 5 of those with the Super Bowl champs and always tough Saints. If Miami can manage these wins, they’ll walk away with an 11-win season and more than likely make the playoffs.

Now of course the NFL is an “any given Sunday” league and these are just predictions. The wins are up to them and the rest of the coaching staff to hang on to.
