2020 was a crap year for everyone. Like all years, there were some awful Cinematic films. While the quality of films was no doubt lacking, a few really stood out as the worst of the worst.

6. Artemis Fowl

We all had high hopes for this film. All were left disappointed. It wasn’t the film wasn’t entertaining, I actually enjoyed parts of this. The issue I had was the film felt so rushed and forced. It never had time to find its footing and just didn’t hit its groove. I didn’t read the books, however, I can’t fathom how this was so beloved in paperback form.

5. Tax Collector

What a waste of time. David Ayer is known for some serious action films. This was complete crap. While there were some intense action sequences, the script felt like it was written by a high school film buff. Shia LaBeouf is the only saving grace for this picture. That’s really only because he’s a name attached to the film. If not for him, nobody would have blinked an eye.

4. Babysitter: Killer Queen

If you liked the first film, you’ll love the sequel. Unfortunately, the first film was crap, as was this. The sequel did explain some plot holes from the original quite well, however, the ending was both predictable and stupid. And the twist put forth in the first 20 minutes was just plain dumb.

3. Fantasy Island

Blumhouse doesn’t really do bad films. This happened to be one of them. A sort of backdoor prequel to the television show, this film was just sort of all over the place. So many different storylines that the film just tried to piece together to make it make sense. Of course, all of the main characters are intertwined somehow, but so many different twists at the end made it hard to keep up with.
(These final two films are the worst of the worst. I’d reckon to say both are some of the worst films ever made. Yes, they are that bad)

2. The Wrong Missy

You know what you’re getting here. It’s a slapstick Adam Sandler produced comedy that is more stupidity than actual comedy. I was intrigued by the plot at first, however, it goes to shit real quick. Had this been less of a stupid comedy and more of an intelligent comedy we’d have something to talk about. Oh, and if you’re wondering Missy, ends up being the girl of his dreams. But, anyone with any sense saw that coming.

1. Superintelligence

Melissa McCarthy and her husband might be the worst actress-director combo ever. I still have no idea what the point of this film was. McCarthy’s character has no motivation or motive. The love story ( which I don’t know if this is a love story, action film, or comedy) was just so cringe. A very rushed and not well thought out film. At least The Wrong Missy knew it was terrible. Superintelligence wants you to believe this film is to be taken seriously.
Yeah, right.
