A show that pokes fun at gaming tropes rather than gamers themselves, Mythic Quest has a similar feel to HBO’s hit show Silicon Valley which pokes fun at the world of tech. Both shows echo true to life experiences around the industries they work in. Most of the humor depends largely on relatability to the audience’s own interactions. While most gamers might not know what it’s like to work in the gaming industry, we all know what it’s like to deal with the demands of the workplace as well as how we’ve interacted with other gamers.
