NCAA Tournament 2018, Arizona State vs Syracuse: Watch online, live stream

Many people were shocked that the Syracuse Orange made the 2018 NCAA Tournament. However, Jim Boeheim and company are in the March Madness action as they take on Arizona State on Wednesday night in Dayton, Ohio. The winner of Wednesday’s game will play No. 6 seed TCU on Friday in Detroit, Michigan.

Both teams aren’t coming off the best of seasons. Many thought Syracuse shouldn’t be in the tournament, but their perennial success year after year and being a brand name gave them the edge over other schools. The Orange can’t let down their guard or they will be headed back to New York without an NCAA Tournament win to their name this season.

Boeheim’s squad plays a type of defense Arizona State may struggle with. ASU will need to discuss to his type of zone defense or else it will be doomed from the start. It helps the Sun Devils saw various zone defenses in the conference championship game but Syracuse’s defense isn’t exactly the same. On the season the Sun Devils finished 20-11 and a win over Syracuse would definitely be a confidence booster before Friday’s potential matchup against TCU.
