NCAA Tournament 2018, NC Central vs Texas Southern: Watch online, live stream
March Madness is back for the second of four straight days of NCAA Tournament action. After an exciting first night of action, the second day of First Four games is here. North Carolina Central Eagles and the Texas Southern Tigers face off in the first of two games in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday night. The winner of this contest will head to Nashville, Tennessee and face No. 1 seed Xavier.
For both teams, it’s just a joy to make an NCAA Tournament appearance. The hard work paid off and each team’s players are now enjoying an unforgettable journey. However, one team’s season ends on Wednesday, while the other lives to play another day with a chance to reach the Round of 32 if they can pull off the upset
The Eagles earned a spot in the 2018 NCAA Tournament after earning the automatic qualifier from the MEAC. They defeated top-seeded Hampton to make back-to-back March Madness appearances and their third NCAA Tournament bid in five years.
On the other side, the Tigers won the SWAC Men’s Basketball Tournament for the fourth time in five years after defeating the No. 1 seeded Arkansas-Pine Bluff 84-69 on Saturday in the championship game.
Texas Southern is led in scoring by Demontrae Jefferson who is averaging 23.4 points per game. Each team’s top three scorers are also averaging in double figures as well.
Based on Tuesday night’s First Four action, Wednesday’s game between NC Central and Texas Southern should be entertaining to watch. All the information to tune into tonight’s game is below.
