It’s not often that a movie gets 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Some of them to have accomplished this feat were All About Eve in 1950, Modern Times in 1936, and Citizen Kane in 1941. We may be seeing the next movie to put itself into that exclusive class. This movie has so much buzz that it will be released in theaters on November 1st and then hit Netflix on November 27th. The movie is called the Irishman and it’s getting incredible amount of buzz.

One of the reasons why it’s getting such a buzz is the cast in the movie. The actors who are headlining this movie are Robert DiNiro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, and Harvey Keitel. As it was said in an interview recently, “The Avengers of Crime Actors have assembled.” This is true because all of these guys have played in some of more legendary crime movies. Harvey Keital was in the legendary Taxi Driver. Al Pacino was in Serpico, The Godfather series, and Scarface are some of his legendary roles. Joe Pesci was in My Cousin Vinny, GoodFellas, and Casino. Robert DiNiro also appeared in several of the movies mentioned. It’s also worth mentioning that these guys have combined for over two hundred years on acting experience.

Another reason why this movie is getting a ton of buzz is the man who is directing this movie. Martin Scorsese is one of the greatest directors of all time. He is responsible for several movies like Taxi Driver, Casino, Goodfellas, and the Departed. In most of Martin Scorsese’s movies, there’s usually some sort of theme in them. They include crime, guilt, and finding redemption. The Irishman is going to be continuing that trend. The synopsis to the Irishman as presented on IMDB, ” A mob hitman recalls his possible involvement in the slaying of Jimmy Hoffa.”

I’ve never been more excited to see this movie and I suspect this will go down as one of the best movies around.
