NFL: An Early Look at the AFC Championship Game
The AFC Championship game this Sunday is between the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars. No one is surprised that the Patriots are in this game. Since Tom Brady has been the quarterback of the New England Patriots, they have appeared in eleven AFC Championship games. They have a record of 7-4. However, the Jacksonville Jaguars being at this point is a bit of a surprise. Since the Jaguars have been around, they have a record of 5-6 in the playoffs.
Not the first time
While the two teams have had complete opposite directions in their franchises, this isn’t the first time that they have clashed in the AFC Championship Game. Back in 1996, the two of them clashed. The Patriots ended up winning that game 20-6. They would end up losing the Super Bowl that season to the Green Bay Packers. The 1996 Championship game would be the first time that these two teams would clash. Over the years, the Patriots have dominated the Jaguars in the regular season.

The 2017 Jaguars seems to be like the New York Giants
While the Jaguars have made a huge rebound since the days of winning four games in a season, it seems that this years team is different. For instance, they are built like the Coughlin Giants teams were. Subsequently, the defense is what carries the team and the offense gets along. Hence, this is what the Giants teams were like during the Coughlin days.
