Welcome back to your weekly preview of the upcoming New York Giants game. As we saw in week 1, the New York Giants lost 35-17 to the Dallas Cowboys. As they look past that game, the Giants welcome the Buffalo Bills to Metlife. The Bills won a comeback win in week 1 against the New York Jets. This will be the fourteenth time that the Bills and Giants play each other during the regular season. The Giants lead the series 7-6.

You have two teams coming into this game that are not expected to do much in the 2019 season. One of the first things we need to look at is how many yards both teams have had. While the Giants did lose in Week 1, they were somehow able to get 470 yards. As of this writing, they are 6th in the NFL. On the flip side, the Bills were able to get 370 yards against the New York Jets. They are coming into this game ranked 16th in the league. You have Frank Gore taking the ball for the Bills and Saquon Barkley taking the ball the Giants, this could be a key thing in this game.

If the Giants don’t want to fall to 0-2, then they can’t get many penalties or give the Bills the ball. In the Dallas game, the Giants had 8 penalties for 70 yards. You don’t want to give your opponent more time with the ball than they need. No team ever plays perfect, but you don’t want the penalties to overtake the game.

As far as how I see this game playing out, I know I picked the Giants to win last week and flopped on it. I feel the Bills will probably get the win here. The Giants aren’t at full capacity as several key players are out with injuries. I know that once a team goes 0-2 that they have an 11 % chance of making the playoffs. I don’t see the Giants making the playoffs and this will be a long season.

Prediction: Buffalo Bills 27 New York Giants 14
