NFL: The 5 Biggest Matchups of Week 3
Week 2 was full of upsets, big wins, and big losses. Injuries are already changing the shape of the season and Week 3 of the NFL season is packed with good matchups:
Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) vs Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
The NFC East was an ugly finish last season. The Washington Football team made it to the playoffs but none og the teams deserved to be there. The Cowboys got Dak Prescott back and the Eagles gave full control to Jalen Hurts. The two young QBs are looking to control of the division. 3 out of the 4 teams are 1-1 and a division win early in the season would take an early lead.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) vs Los Angeles Rams (2-0)
Tampa Bay is proving they don’t have a Super Bowl hangover and the LA Rams are trying to prove they’re next. The Bucs need to keep pace with the division-leading Carolina Panthers. The Rams are also tied for the lead in the NFC West. With the exception of a tie, one team is going to walk away with a loss, the winner makes a huge statement early on.

New Orleans Saints (1-1) vs New England Patriots (1-1)
Two teams looking to be next. Their next quarterbacks, next win, next championship. All of it could be on the line this season but this matchup could be a coin toss. The Patriots think they have their future QB in Mac Jones but have kept him bottled up. Jameis Winston hasn’t shown he’s the next level but can do enough to win. This game won’t be the one that changes either team’s season but it will be the next tick in the win column.
Indianapolis Colts (0-2)vs Tennessee Titans (1-1)
The Colts have looked like a team that could compete but can’t quite get over the hump. The Tennessee Titans stumbled against the Cardinals but bounced back last week. Another good division matchup with the Colts needing a win to stay alive in the division. The Titans have to show they’re still contenders and not regressing this season.
Los Angeles Chargers (1-1) vs Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)
A matchup that quite possibly is the biggest of the week. Two young quarterbacks with chips on their shoulders. The Chargers and Justin Herbert need to show they belong and can win the big games. Kansas City isn’t looking like the powerhouse after losing in the Super Bowl. While they’re still putting up points in bunches, teams are keeping the games a lot closer. The Chiefs have won by 4 and lost by 1 and aren’t looking like they can blow teams out anymore. A division win could get either team back on track.
