NFL: Which Remaining Team Is The Biggest Threat In The Playoffs

NFL AFC East Bills quarterback Josh Allen

With the NFL Wild Card Weekend kicking off this year’s playoffs there were a ton of lopsided games. Not including the current one being played on Monday night, which of the dominating teams is the biggest threat to win the Super Bowl?

Buffalo Bills

The Bills embarrassed the Patriots in their matchup Saturday night and it seemed like a weight was lifted off the franchise. Buffalo had been beaten by the Pats for some time. Despite a sloppy season, Buffalo looked just as dominant as they did last year in the playoffs. It’s almost as if they held back and saved some energy for the post-season. If they continue this strong, opponents should be nervous.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs did what the Chiefs have done in the NFL for the past two seasons. They moved the ball with ease and the Steelers couldn’t keep up. With a rocky season, Pittsburgh found a way to overcome and make it to the playoffs. However, Kansas City had too many weapons for them to handle. They’ll face a tough Buffalo team that appears to have it together. KC should pull out all the stops if they want to dominate in the same fashion.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Two words, Tom Brady. That’s all you need to know about how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers postseason would go. Never doubt Tom in the playoffs. As good as the Eagles were to get to the playoffs, a punishing defense and postseason experience won this game. A young QB and head coach combo being in the playoffs for the first time was enough. Too bad they had to go up against the winningest QB in postseason history. Credit to Tampa’s defense as well as a complete team game made it look easy.

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati might not have blown out the Las Vegas Raiders but they dominated most of the game. The Raiders never could overcome their deficit but put up a good showing at the end of the season. The Bengals shocked most of the NFL this year with how well they turned on the gas towards the end of the season. They might not be strong enough to hang with the Chiefs and Bills yet, but you probably shouldn’t count them out either.

San Francisco 49ers

Ok, San Francisco didn’t blow out the Cowboys, but they did make them look one-dimensional. There’s going to be a tough matchup in Green Bay next week playing a future NFL Hall of Fame QB, Aaron Rodgers. San Fran showed up this week and let it be known they weren’t in the playoffs by accident.

It will be tough for each team going forward and half of them will be going home next week. These NFL playoffs will feature some of the better matchups we’ve seen in a while and they still have to add the teams in who were on a bye week. Who’s your pick for the Super Bowl this year?
