NXT: Scarlet Bordeaux and Killer Kross would be beneficial, if they were to sign
We are less than a month away from NXT budding heads with AEW on Wednesday nights. As NXT and AEW are set to make their TV debuts, they will be looking to fill the rosters. It seems that the first move was done by AEW as former LAX members Santana and Ortiz made their debuts at All Out as they attacked the Young Bucks. Like we mentioned earlier in the week, by having them attack the Young Bucks it’s safe to say that they will probably be the ones to team with Chris Jericho on the debut episode in the six-man tag match.
However, it seems now that the WWE may be making the next move. It was reported that former Impact knockout Scarlet Bordeaux was in Orlando at the Performance Center getting a private tryout. As of this writing, it’s unknown how the tryout went and if they want to offer her a contract. If I were WWE, I’d personally sign her and have her go to NXT. This would be crucial for the fact that you need to make someone be the face of the women’s brand. Yes, Shayna Bazler has done that, but it’s becoming stale at this point. Also, if she were to sign with them, I’d be hopeful that they don’t change her gimmick at all. In my humble opinion, she has gotten herself over due to her gimmick. It’s worth mentioning that she has appeared a few times on WWE in the past. She lost a squash match to Nia Jax in late 2018 and was once apart of Adam Rose’s Rosebuds.
If you can sign her, then you would have to figure that Killer Kross would be coming as well. In case you didn’t know, Killer Kross and Impact Wrestling have been having some problems lately. If his girlfriend were to sign with WWE, I figured he would be with her as well. The addition of Killer Kross to NXT would be incredibly beneficial.
