Long Season Ahead
If there was a growing concern about the Eagles 2021 schedule, it’s their bye week. They’ll play 13 straight games before getting their bye, which could be a blessing or curse. A late-season bye helps going rest going into the playoffs if they’re in position. However, 13 games before the bye and 5 of the 7 games before their break will be on the road. Of those 5, four will be cold-weather games. Staying healthy down the stretch will be key to their success.

Divisional Push
After their bye week, the Eagles will have a bit of a break, sort of. They’ll play 3 out of 4 games at home, but they’ll be divisional games on the back end of the season as everyone is pushing for a playoff spot. They’ll need a strong start to balance out the mid-season struggles as they wait to rest, but their true test will be after the bye should any of their rivals be competing for the division or a wildcard spot.
Challenging Young Teams
Luckily for the Eagles, they’re a young team who can pave their own path with new expectations. The only problem with that is they’ll face the same in the Lions, 49ers, Chargers, and Jets. They’ll also have the Super Bowl champs to fend off. There’s also a good chance they’ll face Ryan Fitzpatrick twice at the end of the season. Fitz has never lead a team to the playoffs, but he’s played playoff spoiler for a lot of division rivals in his day. There are a ton of games littering this year’s schedule that are trap games they shouldn’t take too lightly.
The Philadelphia Eagles will have a challenging season, but there’s not too much to panic over. However, with a couple bad breaks the season could quickly get away from them. Stay healthy and stay focused and they’ll be on the right path.
