Politics: Kelli Ward Accuses the Death of John McCain to Affect Her Campaign
The world heard the heartbreaking news on Saturday night. After fighting brain cancer for some time, Senator John McCain of Arizona would end up losing his battle. While many people were mourning his passing, Arizona state senator Kelli Ward decided to make some comments. While I will admit that I do not know much about Kelli Ward. I feel the comments she made will hurt her big time.
The day before John McCain passed away, the McCain family announced that John McCain will no longer continue the treatment. It just so happened that Kelli Ward was kicking off her campaign the same night. For some odd reason, Kelli Ward thinks that by the McCain family making the comments it will hurt her campaign. Her exact comments could be found on her Facebook page. She said, “I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that they hope is negative to me.”There are a few things wrong with this post.
For starters, I don’t think Kelli Ward’s campaign was on the mind of the McCain family when they were making the announcement. Second of all, this will be negative because you opened your mouth and made a stupid comment. It’s not negative from the McCain family. It’s negative because you are claiming that McCain dying will screw you in November. It baffles me how people can say that the effect of John McCain dying will be that Kelli Ward won’t win in November. She’s just jealous that McCain beat her in the 2016 election by a 51%-39%. Either way, Kelli Ward is a fool and should be ashamed of herself.
John McCain was the senator of Arizona from 1987-2018 when he lost his battle with brain cancer. He is one of the few people in the Government who was respected by both sides of the aisle. He will truly be missed.
