Power: Who Should Kill Who?
This is the game. Season 6 of Power is showing the downfall of the drug life. While most shows will only glorify then turn to prison shots or death of friends, Power hits home. Much like The Wire before it, this is personal and business.
With Tommy and Ghost at odds for the past two seasons, many are wondering who will kill who and how?
As crazy as things had gotten for Tommy and Ghost, neither has ever pulled the trigger on each other or on the loved ones of one another. That was until Tommy killed Angela. While Angie was not family, Tommy knew what her death would mean for Ghost and their relationship. How did Ghost react? He didn’t go after Tommy’s mother or his girlfriend Keshia, he went after Tommy.
As Season 6 has progressed, the once friends turned brothers, now turned enemies, have called a sort of truce. But for how long? After Tommy finds Keshia dead in her house, his first thought has to be that of Ghost. But we all know he didn’t do it. His ex- wife Tasha did.
And that alone, will push Tommy over the edge. As close as he and Tasha are/were will he seek revenge? Maybe Tommy will go the extra mile and come after Tariq. With Raina already dead, those are the only two that Ghost has left.
As for Tommy, what does he do with Cash? With Keshia gone, does he now become a parent? If Tommy does come after Tariq or Tasha, how will Ghost respond? In a scene last week, Ghost stopped Tommy from killing Sax saying that he owed him for Angela’s murder. Does that mean they’re even now?
When it all comes down to it, Tommy and Ghist will have to go head up. They noth have downslope pretty awful shit to each other and their may be no coming back from that. But when that moment does happen, who pulls the final trigger and who walks away?
