Ring of Honor rumors: Kenny Omega vs. Cody at Supercard of Honor
New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 is now behind us, we can look forward to Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor. This will be happening the same weekend as WrestleMania 34.
Since the card hasn’t been made clear yet, it seems that one of the matches may be made clear soon. There are rumors going around that Kenny Omega‘s Supercard of Honor opponent may be none other than his stablemate, Cody. There is tension that clearly indicates that these two will face each other down the road. I am more than sure that these two would get high on the card. It seems that every match that Kenny Omega is in is great matches. Over the years, he has had clashes with Chris Jericho and Okada.
[JonBlayneAds]Cody has made a name for himself since he left the WWE in 2016. He left due to creative differences with his Stardust gimmick. ThereĀ is a strong argument that since joining the Bullet Club Cody’s career is stronger. There are a few interesting things that they need to address with this match. When you have two people in the same stable fight, there has been a tendency that it is their way out of the company. However, I don’t see that being the case with either of these guys.
Although both guys have been rumored to be heading for the WWE, they are both doing great in Ring of Honor. Kenny Omega has shown that you don’t need the machine to push you. He has brought more eyes to the company with his classics with Okada and Jericho. Cody has also helped his career by not being in the WWE. Since he turned heel, the work he has been doing now is some of the best I have seen. It is also worth noting that Kenny Omega re-signed a one year deal that pretty much puts him in NJPW and ROH for the next year.
