Ring of Honor: Why getting a live weekly show will help
Ring of Honor has been around since February 23,2002. Over the years, it has been seen as an alternative to the WWE. For a while, it stayed true to being the alternative. Until 2019, there were not many wrestling promotions around. Then in 2019, we would see NWA and AEW enter the landscape. Also, Impact found a major network. Ring of Honor seems to be going downhill. On Friday night, they will be holding their annual Final Battle ppv and you wouldn’t know that based off what we have seen. Several talents from Cody Rhodes to Adam Cole to AJ Styles all made a name for themselves at this event.
The one in 2019 is sure to be a classic as PCO till take on Rush for the belt. Unless, you are die hard wrestling fan then it’s highly unlikely that you would have know. While Ring of Honor has made a lot of odd choices when it come to booking, that’s a small piece to why they have been having a lot of problems. The bigger problem that they need to fix in 2020 is getting on Live TV. When you think of WWE, you know that RAW and NXT are on USA Network and Smackdown is on Fox. AEW is on TNT, Impact is on AXS TV, and MLW is on bein. My point is you know where to find those shows.
In the case of Ring of Honor, it’s tough to find where they are live. Yes, you can watch them on either the FITE App or the Ring of Honor app. However, not everyone can gave access to those apps. The roster of ROH is talented and it sucks that many people can’t watch them. The thing holding ROH back is Sinclair Broadcasting. They need a new person backing them that wants to put them on live TV.
