Snowfall: Are We Ready For The Downfall Of Franklin?
For three seasons, fans of the hit FX show Snowfall have pondered one question. What will be the final fate of Franklin Saint? Regardless of how we feel about Franklin, there’s no way of getting around who he is and what he’s doing. Franklin has single-handily destroyed his own community with drugs. And yet, we still find ourselves rooting for him.
In Season 1, Franklin was the kid looking for a way out. He wanted to provide for himself, his family, and friends, but in order to do that, he had to change his way of thinking and his approach to getting money. Franklin aligned himself with drug dealers (Government) and then became possibly the biggest one in the city. But it came at a cost.

He started to lose friends, almost lost his aunt and uncle, lost his girlfriend Mel, committed murder, and then lost himself. Franklin has been through the wringer and now that he knows the truth regarding Reed’s identity, Franklin is ready to go all in.
With the knowledge that he’s now working for the Government and an understanding that his life is now in danger, what will happen to Franklin? Fans can view Snowfall the same wat they did The Wire or just recently, Power. While it’s good to root for the guy making his way, we do have to take into account that he’s still on the wrong side of the law.
As much as the people cheered for Tony Montana, in the end, he still had to pay the ultimate price. Are loyal fans of Snowfall ready for that when it comes to Franklin Saint? Are they ready to see his downfall? He’s popular now but the Government is only using him for what they need. What happens when he and Reed’s business is done? And let’s not forget, Mel is still out there and as his business continues to grow, so will his enemies.
Franklin has been caught slipping numerous times already. How many ore lives does he have? Will he survive Season 4?
