Spider-Man: No Way Home: Shut Up And And Enjoy The Moment
Over the years, movie trailers have made the mistake of giving away too much information. Recently, Fast and Furious made the fatal error of revealing that Han was still alive during one of their trailers. And as great as Marvel has been, they made a grave error when they revealed that Spider-Man was crossing over into the MCU when he made his appearance in Captain America: Civil War.
Now, entering his third solo movie, Spider-Man is set to uproot the MCU again if the rumors are true. Since the idea of Spider-Man: No Way Home, many wondered what the storyline would be. Then the rumors started that all three actors to play Spider-Man would make an appearance.
Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland would share the screen in what is sure to be just as epic as what Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame were for Phase 3. But can they keep it under wraps?
Fans are searching for any signs that the rumors are true. So what if they are? Marvel nor the actors have yet to make a statement and that has fans in an uproar. But why?
Isn’t this one of those moments that would be nice to see on screen and not a trailer? Wouldn’t it be nice to be surprised to see all three? Imagine watching Civil War and seeing Spider-Man appear the way he did without seeing it first on a trailer. Remember the excitement that caused? Imagine if any Endgame trailer revealed the historical Captain America and Mjolnir scene before fans saw it in the theater.

This is why keeping all this under wraps is their best play. This is a moment in cinematic history that should be just for the screen. And yet, fans are trashing Marvel for not revealing something that should not be revealed. Instant gratification is the problem with the generation. No one wants to be surprised anymore.
Marvel has taken a hit recently with their last few films. And here comes Spider-Man with a chance to bring back what fans fell in love with more than a decade ago. Just be quiet, live in the moment, and enjoy the show.
